I’m thrilled to be a part of the show “What River Are You Made Of? Tuolumne Inside Out Art Exhibit” which is the second in the Wholly H2O series: Standing With the Watershed Art Exhibits. This series of shows seeks to trace the source of water from our taps to the rivers from which it originates and ask people the question, “Where does your water come from?“. The show is over 25 artists’ take on the Tuolumne river, the source of water for 25 million people in the San Francisco Bay Area, and ranges from the molecular, infrastructure, and end use levels. The pieces I’m showing in this exhibit are three of my water diatom series, “Single-Celled Cities #3, 8, &14“. The show sounds like it will be amazing and informational and I encourage anyone near the San Francisco area on September 11th to check out the opening reception.
